25th Annual Lifesavers Gala – Honoring the First Responders Who Make Every Second Count
On October 26, more than 500 supporters gathered at the Hyatt Regency Bellevue for the Medic One Foundation’s annual Lifesavers Gala, raising a record $1.56 million to help train the next generation of lifesavers.
Funds from the evening will support the training of 39 new Medic One paramedics—the largest single cohort in program history and the first time two paramedic classes have run simultaneously. These students represent fire departments across King, Snohomish, Jefferson, and San Juan Counties.
Hosted by Michelle Millman and auctioneer Colin McArthur, the evening featured the powerful story of Doug Henderson, who suffered a sudden cardiac arrest at home. Thanks to quick action from dispatchers and the expert care of Medic One paramedics, Doug survived—and shared his gratitude for the system that saved his life. His story was a moving reminder of the critical importance of world-class training and fast, coordinated emergency response.
Thank you to our sponsors, donors, and volunteers for making this remarkable night—and every lifesaving moment—possible.
