Enhancing Emergency Response
Contributors to the Medic One Foundation’s Equipment Fund provides local fire departments with the tools they need to respond to life-threatening medical emergencies. Each year, our foundation identifies communities where local fire departments require critical equipment to enhance their response capabilities and improve patient care outcomes.
Thanks to the generous support of donors like you, we’re proud to announce this year’s grant awards. A total of $50,000 has been allocated to eight deserving agencies, enabling them to acquire essential tools and resources. Among the items funded are four advanced simulation manikins and monitors, four training AEDs, four Stop the Bleed training kits, 32 mini trauma kits tailored for scenes of violence, and two patient CO2 capnograph devices.
These grants represent more than just monetary support—they’re investments in the safety and well-being of our communities. With these vital resources in hand, first responders can enhance their skills, improve the quality of care they provide, and ultimately, save more lives.
