Medic One Foundation Selected as a Microsoft “50 for 50” Grantee

The Medic One Foundation is proud to announce that we have been chosen as one of Microsoft’s “50 for 50” organizations as part of their One Future. One Sound. campaign. This honor celebrates nonprofits and changemakers who have made significant contributions to the Puget Sound region.

This recognition holds special meaning for us as we celebrate our 50th anniversary this year. For five decades, Medic One Foundation has been dedicated to improving emergency medical care, training paramedics, and saving lives across our community. Being named a “50 for 50” grantee by Microsoft reinforces the importance of our mission and the incredible impact we’ve achieved together.

In addition to receiving a $50,000 grant, our work will be featured across Microsoft’s platforms, including their Honoring Local Changemakers webpage, Instagram, and KUOW radio. We are especially thrilled that Microsoft will also amplify our story through boosted social media posts, helping spread awareness of our life-saving initiatives.

Since 2013, Medic One Foundation has proudly participated in Microsoft’s GIVE campaign, providing hands-only CPR and AED training to employees. Over the last 11 years, we’ve trained more than 8,000 individuals in these critical life-saving skills, equipping them with the knowledge and confidence to act in emergencies. Additionally, GIVE campaign funding has supported the training of 9 paramedics, who have gone on to respond to thousands of emergencies with unparalleled expertise and compassion.

This recognition wouldn’t be possible without the ongoing support of our community, donors, and volunteers. You are the heroes who make our work possible.

Stay tuned as we share more about our journey, impact, and the changemakers featured in this campaign. Follow us on social media to see how we’re working with Microsoft to inspire and elevate the future of our region.

Together, we’re creating One Future. One Sound.
