Medic One Foundation Announces New Board Leadership

The Medic One Foundation is pleased to announce that Craig Peterson will serve as the new President of the Board of Directors. Craig has been a dedicated member of the board since 2007, previously serving as Treasurer, Secretary, and a member of the Executive and Governance Committees.

With more than 35 years of experience in the medical device industry, Craig has held leadership positions at Philips Healthcare, Protocol Systems, and SpaceLabs, focusing on strategic alliances, product development, and advancing life-saving technology. In addition to his work with the Medic One Foundation, Craig has been actively involved in the American Heart Association, Seattle Police Foundation, and Citizen CPR Foundation, reinforcing his passion for strengthening emergency response and community health initiatives.

We also extend our deepest gratitude to Brian Webster, who has served as Board President for the past three years and has been a dedicated member of the Foundation since 2007. Under Brian’s leadership, the Foundation undertook its first-ever strategic plan for the paramedic training program, ensuring that our communities’ growing emergency medical needs continue to be met. His tenure also saw remarkable financial growth, with the Foundation’s reserve increasing by 60%, allowing us to support more paramedic students and expand critical equipment grants, EMT scholarships, first responder behavioral health support, and community CPR training.

While stepping down as President, Brian will continue to serve on the board as Immediate Past President, where his experience and dedication will remain invaluable.

Please join us in thanking Brian for his exceptional leadership and welcoming Craig as he steps into this vital role. We look forward to the continued success of the Medic One Foundation under Craig’s guidance.
