Learn How to Help Save a Life

Join the Medic One Foundation this spring for a free in-person Hands-only CPR/AED class at the Mercer Island Community and Event Center to gain the lifesaving skills and knowledge necessary when responding to a sudden cardiac arrest. Your instructors will include Medic One Foundation certified trainers, including a retired Seattle Fire Department firefigher/paramedic. Training topics include:

  • Defining a sudden cardiac arrest
  • Recognizing a sudden cardiac arrest vs. heart attack
  • Addressing CPR misconceptions and concerns
  • CPR and AED application demonstration
  • Choking
  • Medical emergencies
  • Time for hands-on practice with training manikins
  • Opportunity for questions/answers
