“The Foundation guarantees that every individual is trained to the highest level possible. It allows us to ask more of our paramedics than any other program.”–Michael K. Copass, MD

Thank you Medic One Foundation Board Members! Your work and financial support as a Board Member of Medic One Foundation ensures that high caliber paramedics graduate from the Michael K. Copass, MD Paramedic Training Program and continue to operate at the very highest level possible. I am very grateful for your service and dedication to our mission.

As we have discussed at our board meetings, there is an overwhelming need right now to train more paramedics. The last two years have taken an unprecedented toll on EMS providers throughout the nation, as well as locally. EMS agencies around our region are facing a current and future staffing shortage of paramedics due to a significant number of retirements over the past year. Paramedics in our region are stretched to the max and the need for our organization remains very high.

Our goal this year is to raise $900,000 to completely fund the training of 24 new paramedics as well as recertify 135 active paramedics. Please join me in making your personal gift to the Campaign for Paramedic Training Class 49 below. We can’t prevent emergencies from happening, but we can certainly make sure that our region’s paramedics are exceptionally prepared with the knowledge and skills to save lives. Thank you for giving generously to this effort!

Gratefully,

Brian Webster, President
