Speaker’s Bureau

Join our Speaker’s Bureau and help spread the word about the impact of Foundation programs on the quality of Medic One services.

Special Events

The Foundation currently has one signature event that raises more than $150,000 for Foundation programs each year. Volunteer help is always needed to solicit sponsors, secure auction items, increase event attendance, and assist with event-day setup.

Lights Sirens Auction

The Lights Sirens Auction event raises money to support the Paramedic Training program as well as purchase emergency medical equipment. The event is typically held in the fall, and includes dinner, silent and live auctions, and dancing.

Other Special Events

The Foundation welcomes inquiries from individuals, businesses, and organizations that want to support Foundation programs by organizing a special event, such as bowl-a-thons, sports tournament, garage sales, walkathons/runs, auctions, etc.

Vial of L.I.F.E.

The Vial of L.I.F.E. kit offers a simple way for emergency medical services personnel to access an individual's medical information if he or she is unconscious or is otherwise unable to offer medical history. Having a "vial" or packet of information in a handy pre-designated place in one's home that firefighters and paramedics can easily access can be essential in providing more effective emergency care. Help is needed to assemble the kits. Assembly can be in your home or coordinated at our office during normal business hours.

Office Administration

We are always looking for volunteers to help with administrative tasks. Tasks would include but not be limited to filing, donor acknowledgements, data entry and special fundraising projects.
