Our Broad Influence

Foundation programs touch the lives of almost 50,000 people each year.

More than 230 paramedics who serve Seattle and King County are on the front lines of emergency medical care and treatment every day. Each year they respond to nearly 50,000 calls for life-threatening incidents and the quality of care that they are able to provide in the first six minutes can mean the difference between life and death. With your help, we can continue to ensure that our region has advanced life support personnel with the necessary training to offer you and your loved ones the best chances for survival.

The broad influence of the Foundation

The Foundation provides funding to train paramedics for all Medic One providers in King County, as well as certain providers in Snohomish County.

Other Foundation-funded programs, such as patient care quality improvement and research, have direct and indirect benefits that influence pre-hospital emergency care around the world, through shared protocols and published research findings.

Foundation funding trains Medic One paramedics throughout our region.

How many paramedics in your community have received world-class training because of funding from the Medic One Foundation?
